CPR/AED Certification, Course
Heartsaver CPR/AED
The Heartsaver® CPR AED course is geared for everyday Canadians. If you need the basics, look no further. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on its way quickly and provide help until someone with more advanced training arrives to take over. You’ll get hands-on practice in performing high-quality CPR, using an AED, relieving choking and giving mouth-to-mouth breaths or breaths with a mask.

Heartsaver CPR/AED Level C
CPR AED Level C is designed for people in the workplace, who want to learn how to help an adult, child or infant having a cardiac or choking emergency. You will learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on its way quickly and provide help until someone with more advanced training arrives to take over. You’ll get hands-on practice in performing high-quality CPR, using an AED, relieving choking and doing rescue breathing.
This course includes a written exam in addition to skills testing and is ideal if your workplace or employer requires formal acknowledgement of the knowledge and skills you’ve acquired.

BLS/AED
This course is designed for healthcare providers and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of both in-facility and prehospital settings or by those that require BLS certification and CPR training to enter into a healthcare-related training program.

Standard First Aid Certification
Standard First Aid Level C- CSA Inter
The Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C course contains up-to-date content and science from the 2010 Guidelines for First Aid, CPR and ECC. In this course, you will learn the essential skills of patient care to protect and support the life of a suddenly ill or injured person until emergency medical services arrive. Instruction will cover first aid skills such as those that help in the control of bleeding, shock management, stabilizing fractures and dislocations. It is also open to the general public.

Standard First Aid Level C Recert
Was introduced in April 2017. Individuals are only able to take a renewal class once every alternating renewal year. Providers must complete the renewal class prior to the expiration of their current HSF provider level Standard First Aid certification. Individuals, who hold a current HSF renewal Standard First Aid certification, are required to take a full HSF Standard First Aid provider course. Standard First Aid BLS
The Standard First Aid BLS for Healthcare Provider (C) course encompasses the full content of the Standard First Aid course and the additional course content of the HSF Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (C) program. The addition of the BLS for Healthcare Provider (C) class is designed to teach a variety of health-care professionals how to recognize a number of life-threatening emergencies, how to provide CPR, how to use an AED and how to relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Emergency First Aid- Level C- CSA Basic
This comprehensive one-day course summarizes proven methods for providing basic, urgent assistance to injured or ill persons. Through instruction, demonstration, and practice, participants will learn how to determine the severity of a patient’s condition and practice safe intervention when providing them with emergency support.
